It is an anti Ice manifold and is very important, it prevents ice accumulation on the outside of the aircraft. During a maintenance check, the defects were found in the anti Ice manifold The customer asked if we could weld this Inconel part according to the correct documentation and qualifications. After welding and testing, the anti Ice manifold was reinstalled. After this, the Learjet 45 was safe to fly again.
